Included in this box are files relating to the planning of the Pearson Museum, known at the time as the Teaching Theater and Museum. Among the papers are proposals for construction, contract, invoices for various components used in the construction of the museum, correspondence regarding construction. There are also photos of a small scale mockup of the proposed final version of the museum and teaching theater.

Also included are some items relating to Emmett Pearson himself including a small amount of corespondance as well as papers document the naming process of the museum. The complete Pearson Museum Monograph Series is included which covers important topics in the history of medicine.
